Founded in 1837 and situated in the beautiful North Yorkshire market town of Richmond, the first of all the many Richmond's in the world, Richmondshire Cricket Club is at the heart of the local community and has strong relationships with both town and district councils, the local primary and secondary schools and the British Army at Catterick Garrison.
Richmondshire Cricket Club and Richmond School have set up what is believed to be the first Cricket Foundation in the state school sector; delivering coaching throughout the district and beyond; and building a brand new cricket pitch and state of the art pavilion on school grounds which the 4th XI & 5th XI and the many junior teams from the club have now begun to use.
Richmondshire Cricket Club offers excellent facilities to both players and social members alike and offers an excellent venue for weddings, christenings and all kinds of parties and functions.
The Club is open all year, but really comes to life in the summer months when it is the best beer garden in Yorkshire.
